The Distributor Portal contains a list of the MSPs linked to your account. It also provides an overview of each MSP (their number of organizations, number of users, registration date, and subscription status).
From here, you can upgrade the MSP accounts and access the MSP environment.
Adding customers
Step 1: Receive a sign-up link
To link an MSP to your account, contact your Customer Success Manager. The CSM will provide you with a link to your unique sign-up page. The link is associated with your account. Send the link to the MSP.
Note: If your MSP customer signs up directly through Guardz, let the support team know and we'll manually link them to your account.
Step 2: Review their status
When the MSP has signed using the link, they will automatically be added to your account. Newly added MSPs will automatically be enrolled in a 14-day free trial. You can upgrade their license now or wait until the trial ends.
The status of each MSP is listed on the portal. These include:
Trial - MSPs currently within the trial period
Expired - MSPs whose trials have ended and have no yet been upgraded (expired accounts have downgraded, minimal protection)
Pro - MSPs upgraded to the Pro plan
MSPs will be prompted to request an upgrade from their distributor. These requests will reach you via email. However, you do not need to wait for these requests to begin upgrading.
Step 3: Upgrade
To upgrade an MSP, hover over their status and select “Upgrade.”
MSPs that have been upgraded will now be able to assign licenses to themselves and to their customers.
Guardz will bill you for the MSP’s number of active user licenses. You can bill the MSP accordingly.
Support Mode
View the dashboards of your MSPs by hovering over their row and selecting “Support Mode.”
Learn more about the MSP dashboard in the MSP Getting Started article.
Support Chat
As a Guardz customer, your MSPs can utilize Guardz customer support. However, if you and your team prefer to provide this support, let us know and we’ll link the platform’s support button with your company’s support service.
Subscription and Billing
Your MSP customers will not be able to view the Guardz pricing on the Subscription & Billing page. Instead, their page will include a note explaining that their subscription is managed by a service provider.
Guardz will bill you for the MSP’s number of active user licenses. You can bill the MSP accordingly.
