Legacy MFA

Multi-factor authentication at Microsoft is complex and as various APIs are shifted into “legacy’ status, we strive to make sure all avenues are covered. To do so, we added an authorization step (MSOnline API) to bring more precise MFA detection logic. Find it in the Security Controls > Cloud Directory Posture > Authorize Microsoft Legacy API and authorize it at your convenience.

Delete Device from List

We've introduced a new feature that allows users to delete an endpoint from the device list. To do so, simply click on the trash icon located in the right column of the device table. It's important to note that while the device will be removed from the list, it will reappear if it sends another heartbeat.

After a device is deleted from the list, the impact will be as follows:

  • All associated issues will be retained in the issue table to ensure a continuous record of device-related concerns.

  • Removing an endpoint from the list does not uninstall the agent. Complete removal of Guardz from the device must be completed according to the uninstall instructions.

  • If the device agent establishes a connection with Guardz in the future, the device will automatically be displayed on the page again.

Email Script Scanning

The Script Scanning feature is the newest addition to our email security tools, designed to detect hidden HTML scripts in email attachments that could pose security threats. Advanced algorithms scan for and identify potential risks, reinforcing your protection against phishing and malware. It runs quietly in the background, injecting warning banners for risky content or quarantining emails to keep your inbox safe.
