This article will walk you through the process of deleting your own organization or a customer of yours (for MSP accounts, and all associated data from Guardz.)

Any organization can be deleted completely from the Guardz Platform

This action is irreversible and will delete all related data. If you have any data you need to keep, make sure to export it before deleting your organization.

To add the organization back, you’ll need to sign in again and start from scratch.

Prerequisites for account deletion:

  • Make sure you’re the account admin in Guardz.

  • If there are pending invoices that haven’t been paid, you won’t be able to delete the organization.

  • For MSP accounts - you’ll need to first remove your managed customers and only then you’ll have the option to delete your own organization.

How to delete an organization:

  1. Pay all open invoices

    • Click on Invoices

    • You’ll see all the invoices you ever had with Guardz, and the unpaid ones will have the label ‘Not Paid’

    • Click on ‘Pay Now’, and you’ll be forwarded to the billing system, where you can complete your payment.

  2. Remove your customers from the MSP account

    • Navigate to the Main Menu > Customers section and choose the customer you wish to delete.

    • Hover over the client and click on ‘Delete Customer’.

    • Follow the steps as required and complete all the required prerequisites in case you haven’t done them yet.

    • Confirm your choice

      💡 Note: This option applies only to MSP accounts that manage their customers in Guardz.

  3. Delete your organization

    Deleting your own organization is done from ‘Delete Organization’

    • Go to the Main menu > ‘Delete Organization’

    • Follow the steps as required and complete all the required prerequisites in case you haven’t done them yet.

    • Confirm your choice

  4. Delete connected applications

    Log in to your Admin account in your primary directory, look for the list of connected applications and delete the different Guardz applications.

  • Question: How do I delete the Demo account?

    • 📍Answer: In order to delete the demo account, navigate to the Customers section > locate the Demo account > click on "Delete Customer"
      If at any point in the future you would like to add it back, please contact the Guardz support.

  • Question: How do I delete my account if I'm using the Small Business platform?

    • 📍Answer: Deleting your own organization is done from ‘Delete Organization’

      Go to the Main menu > ‘Delete Organization’.
      Follow the steps as required and complete all the required prerequisites in case you haven’t done them yet.
