This guide will walk you through on how to deploy the Guardz device agent using Intune.
Downloading the Guardz Agent Installer MSI
Download the Guardz agent installer MSI using one of the following methods:
Download from the Guardz dashboard:
Open the Guardz dashboard at https://app.guardz.com
Navigate to the “Security Controls” page in the left menu.
Open the “Endpoint Security” section.
Click “Deploy”.
Click the appropriate button to download the installer for Windows.

Creating the Windows Intune App
Starting the Intune App Creation Wizard
Open the Intune admin center.
Navigate to the “Apps” page using the side menu.
Select “All apps” and then click “Add”.
Selecting the App Type
Select the “Line-of-business” app type from the dropdown.
Click “Select”.
App Information
Click “select app package file” and select the agent installer MSI you downloaded.
Fill out the following fields:
Publisher: Guardz
Ignore app version: Yes
Command line arguments: GUARDZ_ORGANIZATION_KEY=your organization
key
Click “Next”.
Assignments
select the groups/users/devices you would like to deploy the agent to.
Click “Next”.
Review
Review the information you provided and make sure that the organization key is correct and that “ignore app version” is set to “Yes”.
Click “Create”.
Monitoring the Deployment
Monitor the Guardz Agent deployment in Intune and in the Guardz dashboard devices page.
