Overview and Apple OS update guidance
Apple does not provide developers with the GA version of macOS before release, and often makes changes between the Beta version shared with developers and the GA version. Guardz recommends suspending macOS updates on managed endpoints until SentinelOne formally supports the new macOS version. New Apple OS and hardware releases may carry specific requirements, and certain SentinelOne features may be affected by such releases.

macOS Sequoia builds 15.3 through 15.5 include an Apple bug that prevents detection and blocking of non-TCP/UDP network traffic, resulting in loss of visibility into ICMP traffic. This affects Network Control and Network Quarantine features only.
Apple changes introduced in macOS Sonoma 14.2, 13.6.3, and 12.7.2 cause Agent upgrades and MDM installations to fail on endpoints running those OS versions. Endpoints on macOS 14.2, 13.6.3, 12.7.2, or later must use Agent version 23.2 SP2 or later to upgrade or install via MDM.
